The Festivals are held at the Civic Hall which is situated on the High Street in Totnes
(TQ9 5SF) in a highly visible position above the Town Square
This venue is light and spacious with large windows overlooking a rural landscape. It measures 62ft x 41ft with a ceiling height of 20 ft. Access for the Festivals is via a ramp making it convenient for exhibitors to unload and load, and for the disabled. There is a disabled toilet in the Reception area, which leads into the Hall.
In the Market Square below the Hall, the Town Market takes place on the Saturday and the Good Food Fair is there on the Sunday. The High Street has many coffee shops, cafes and restaurants as well as an unusually large selection of independent shops.
Totnes is a very attractive and historic town situated on the River Dart. The High Street has a great variety of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. It has many medieval buildings, including the old Guildhall and Ramparts, and winds its way up to the Norman Castle sitting on a hill above the town.
